Thanks to you, children and adults with cancer received support this Easter.

Thanks to you our Easter campaign has raised over £38,000 to help fund Cuddles teddy bears and the contents of our Cancer Kits. We know that it’s a difficult time for many people as the cost of living continues to increase, so please know how grateful we are for your support.

You have made so many children smile this Easter, which is something they’ll never forget. Thank you.

Arianna is having treatment at Leeds Children’s hospital – just one of the NHS hospitals around the country that received Easter Cuddles teddies.

Arianna was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in April 2020. Despite this she’s energetic and bubbly, a caring young girl who helps other children when they feel unwell. Whenever she is in hospital she puts light into people’s lives.

The doctors, nurses, and play team have been helping Arianna engage in play to help her cope with being in hospital – so receiving a cuddly bear at Easter was a lovely surprise. She likes to draw and be creative – that’s how she expresses her emotions.

Arianna is currently waiting for stem cells because she was diagnosed with MDS, so she has blood and platelet transfusions. These treatments are tough on a little girl.

Receiving a bear at Easter has made Arianna really happy – she smelt the lavender straight away and cuddled her new friend who she calls Lavender.

“We just wanted to say a big thank you from all of us on the ward for the warmable teddies we received. The patients and families loved them!”

Leicester Royal Infirmary

John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

“The children absolutely love the bears. Thank you once again it is very much appreciated.”

Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children

You helped us to deliver over 600 Easter Cuddle bears to hospitals in April. Our bears are warmable and fragranced with lavender, providing a warm hug to children with cancer at an incredibly tough time.

Fill a Cancer Kit Items

You have also helped to fund the many different items that go into our very special Kids’ Kits. There are warmable bunnies, puzzle books, colouring sets, yo-yos, notebooks and more.

In addition, many of you helped us fill our Cancer Kits, Chemo Kits and Comfort Kits, all designed to meet the needs of adult cancer patients at particular stages of their treatment journey.

However you supported us – thank you so much for helping children and adults with cancer.
