Thanks to you, children and adults with cancer received support this Christmas.
You have helped us to deliver over 1,200 Cuddles for Christmas bears and fund 500 Kids Kits during the lead up to Christmas – bringing a little comfort to children undergoing cancer treatment. You have also helped us fill Comfort, Chemo and Cancer Kits for adults. For the people you helped, it provided support at an incredibly tough time.

Cuddles the Bear travelled from London to Leeds, delivering our warmable teds to hospital beds on the way! Cuddles also made a special trip to the Post Office to send off postal deliveries to places further afield, such as Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast before he took a well earned nap.
Lola
Lola was treated at the Great Northern Children’s Hospital in Newcastle. We delivered 48 Cuddle Bears to them this year.
Reid
Reid received treatment at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital at University Hospital Wales. This year we have sent them 72 Cuddle Bears.
Heidi
Heidi was treated at the Glasgow Children’s Hospital. We sent the hospital 30 Cuddle Bears.
Max
Max had treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. We sent them 72 Cuddle Bears this Christmas.

Comfort and distraction on the toughest journey
You have also also helped to fund the many different items that go into our very special Kids’ Kits.
There are warmable bunnies, puzzle books, colouring sets, yo-yos, notebooks and more. Plus, many of our donors helped us fill our Cancer Kits, Chemo Kits and Comfort Kits, all designed to meet the needs of cancer patients at particular stages of their treatment journey.

“It was a lovely surprise for F to receive the kids kit. He’s only 6 years old but loves brain games, so the book proved to be ideal during long waits in the hospital while receiving chemo infusions. The colouring pencils, crayons, notebook and yo-yo are very apt for his age. The warmies teddy is a bit hit at home during these cold winter days. Thank you for the kit, it put a smile on his face.”
