Cancer Support UK Teams Up With Clothes Aid

Cancer Support UK is delighted to announce a new commercial partnership with Clothes Aid, the UK’s largest fully licenced commercial clothes collection company. They have been collecting clothes since 1996 and have contributed over £9 million to UK charities. This new partnership is expected to generate at least £100,000 per year for Cancer Support UK, which will allow us to continue to provide practical and emotional support to people with cancer in the UK.

Unlike some other charities, we do not have any charity shops on the high street generating income for us – so our new clothing collections with Clothes Aid are a brilliant way for people to donate and recycle their unwanted clothes, and raise money for people with cancer – all from the comfort of their own home.

From this month, Cancer Support UK collection bags have been, and will continue to be, distributed across the country giving people the opportunity to have a pre-Christmas clear-out. It helps to keep textiles out of landfill and gives unwanted clothing, accessories, linen and bric-a-brac a new home.

If you have not received a collection bag through your door, but would like to donate, it’s really easy to arrange a special collection from Clothes Aid by clicking here.
