Link's Story
For a child with cancer, when you’re in and out of hospital, Easter can feel like any other time of year, full of upset and discomfort.
Link was diagnosed with cancer in October 2019 when he was just a year old. Link has been on a treatment journey no child his age should have to face. He’s been through tests, biopsies and scans, and undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
It was Christmas 2021, in the midst of this incredibly tough journey, that his warmable teddy arrived from Cancer Support UK. As you can see from the photographs, cuddling that soft teddy brought a huge smile to his face when he desperately needed to feel a little joy.
This Easter we want to deliver more cuddles. With your help we aim to send out 600 soft, warmable teddies to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospitals throughout the UK. Thank you.
