“I received a Chemo Kit when I was going through my first round of chemotherapy. I was still recovering from the surgery and was worried about how the chemo would affect me. Psychologically I was scared of the unknown, not knowing if the treatment would be a success. It was great to know that someone cared and was thinking about me.
The kit had some really useful items in it. There were things to help pass the time, which I was grateful for as my chemo involved many hours attached to a drip during which I was feeling really sick. It also contained practical things that I wouldn’t have thought to buy for myself but were genuinely useful.
